In Hampshire almost £8 million pounds has been spent by 'Local Partnership Groups' who have involved Children & Young People in setting up and delivering their own services.
Hampshire Children's Fund objectives are closely linked with the outcomes of the Green Paper, Every Child Matters, and the Children Act, 2004:
||Being Healthy – enjoying good physical and
mental health and living a healthy lifestyle
||Staying Safe – Being protected from harm
||Enjoying and achieving – getting the most
out of life and gaining skills
||Making a positive contribution – being involved
with the community and society, and not engaging
in anti-social behaviour or offending
||Economic Well-being – Not being prevented
by economic disadvantage from achieving their full
